What to bring: comfortable t-shirt or tank top, athletic shorts, socks and tennis shoes, water bottle and a light snack. Please make sure to have your hair pulled back in a ponytail or bun for practice. We would also like students to remove all of their jewelry before practice. It is also recommended that students bring a sweatshirt or light jacket.

After Care: Practice ends each day at 3:45PM and students should be picked up before 4:10PM. After care is available until 5pm for a cost of $5/day. Students picked up after 4:10PM will be enrolled in after care at a cost of $5/day . After Care can be paid daily, weekly or monthly in check or credit card. Checks can be made out to Skyhawks Sports.

Each day your student has practice they will meet in the wood gym, outside the locker rooms after they have changed. From there they will start practice. Practices are held on site at Bell MS unless otherwise noted. Students can be picked up behind the school, around back using the west field entrance, at the cafeteria doors at 4pm. After care is available until 5pm at a cost of $5/day.
If you need to get a message to your student or reach one of the MSSP staff, please call or text us at 303-520-7345. This phone will be with a Bell MSSP staff member at all times during the program and at games, matches or meets. Voicemails or texts left after hours will not be checked until the next day. This phone remains at the school at night and weekends.

Transportation will be provided to games as often as possible, using Jeffco Schools buses and City of Golden passenger vans. In those instances, transportation will be provided to the game only. There will be no transportation provided back to the school. When neither of these options is available,parents may be asked to assist with carpools for students.
We will continue to work toward provided full transportation benefits as the program continues to grow.
The Middle School Sports Program (MSSP) is a coed, recreational league for students of Bell Middle School. Participants are taught the basic rules of the game along with sportsmanship. Games and practices are held on Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday. Practices are held after school at Bell Middle School.
League Fee: $100 per sport, one time $10 uniform fee.
Cheerleading Fee: $180, $20 uniform fee.
Financial assistance may be available for children of low-income families through the City of Golden.
How to Apply:
Please complete your registration and pay a 25 percent deposit on the sport fee ($25 for sports; $45 for cheerleading). The T-shirt or uniform fee are additional and do need to be paid by the participant. Complete the financial assistance application, available the front desk of Bell Middle School or at http://www.cityofgolden.net/media/MSSPFinancialAssistanceForm.pdf
The information provided on the application will determine if, and at what level, you qualify to receive financial assistance.
